When I was a teenager, I delivered fish and plants and coral, to peoples aquariums. That was my first business and I called it the ‘biking aquarist.’ Later I worked at an aquarium store and ran a consulting side-business, named ‘Afishionados, aquarium consulting’.

During the covid shutdown I had to run a tropical planted aquarium shop with myself and sometimes one other person. I had to ensure the survival and well being of the entire store - including over 100 sq ft of planted aquariums. I needed a “one-and-done” and if it didn’t work, I knew right away, and vice versa.

Over the years I’ve diagnosed countless aquariums and had to tailor solutions to every individual’s problems. I found that the current aquarium market doesn’t offer the right chemicals for their specific problems.

After doing this many times, I found that most people have the same issues. Generally, they cant deliver the nutrients that plants need because the market solutions for that, are very complex and have unrealistic directions. Dosing frequently as many as twelve different products. On TOP OF the other regular maintenance tanks need such as water quality, tank set-up, lighting, flow, quality plants etc.

Over-time, I ended up consolidating chemicals and simplifying dosing instructions. This product before you, is the culmination of all that work. It’s the simplest form of delivering exactly what your plants need. And to this day I keep plants… and keep consulting and helping people with their plants.
